Finally in retirement there's been time to explore interests that have always been there but never fully explored...
Art - a lifelong passion and longing to give it a go. Better late than never, I guess, but tinged with sad realizations that starting at 60, eyesight, stamina, and mental agility are all going to diminish and vanish long before my skills get to a point where I'll ever be able to paint the pictures I see in my head!
The results so far.
Note - "Man on Bench" & "Girl Reading" are copies of Brian Miller's works. I wanted to learn something from his use of colour and composition. The rest are inspired by my travels, family (including much loved pets), etc.
